A Lack of Funds

Alas, presenting Blogging Brut on this site is not immune to recession and, as is plainly obvious from the date stamps on this blog, I have been unable to update for over two years. Put simply, I lack funds. I lack funds to visit public libraries and mine the computers for misdirected blog posts. I lack funds to visit Assisted Living facilities during Computer Time and capture unsent emails to grandchildren. I lack funds to visit zoological parks where animals are exposed to technology.

I took on the task of presenting outsider blogging to the public pro bono and collected posts in my spare time, that is, when I was not toiling in obscurity at my 9-5 publishing house job.

Alack, I have lost that job. Logic might dictate that since losing my job I would have more time to spend curating this virtual art museum. But, like Joseph Cornell, I have always had a tumultuous relationship with time. Basilisk days and nights of torpor have caused me to lose all interest in this virtual museum and I fear the only thing that will bring me back is Benjamins.

Thus, I hereby humble myself to request a bequest.
